Videos you own or have permission to use. Paste a link to a public, non-live YouTube video or upload a file. Videos can run up to 30 minutes on Free, 1 hour on Creator, 2 hours on Pro, and 3 hours on Business. ClipCheap does not bypass DRM, sign-ins, age gates, regional blocks, or any other download restriction, so some YouTube videos cannot be processed. Read the acceptable use policy.
No. It is a subjective editorial score based on the strength of the opening, clarity, emotion, and payoff in the transcript. It is not a probability, a view prediction, or a promise of engagement. Context, audience, distribution, and your own judgment still matter.
A set of non-overlapping clips, each with a title, the reason it was picked, and an editorial score. Clips export as MP4 at up to 720p on Free and 1080p on paid plans, with optional burned-in captions and a separate SRT file. Free exports include a small watermark. Short or very specific sources may produce fewer clips.
They are a strong first draft, not a finished edit. Captions follow word timings when the transcription provider returns them, and are spread evenly across each phrase when it does not. Auto-reframe follows the largest face it finds and falls back to a center crop. Review every clip and fix anything in the editor before you post.
Your source video and the clips made from it are stored privately on Cloudflare. To transcribe and pick highlights, the audio and the transcript are sent through OpenRouter to the AI model providers it routes to. Source files are kept for 7 to 30 days depending on your plan so you can keep editing, and finished clips stay until you delete the project. Do not submit content you are not comfortable sharing with these providers. Read the privacy policy.
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of source minutes: the length of the videos you process, not the clips you export. A job reserves minutes when it starts and settles to the video’s actual length when it succeeds. If a job fails or you cancel it, the reserved minutes are released.

Paid plans are billed monthly. Our payment provider handles checkout, sales tax, and invoices. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the billing portal in the studio. A cancelled plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Read the refund policy.
