Every clip comes with a title, the reason it was picked, and scores for hook, clarity, emotion and payoff. Picks never overlap.
Choose a style and every clip gets it. Words light up as they are spoken when the transcript has word timings; otherwise each line is spread evenly across the phrase.
Turning a wide video vertical? Auto-reframe follows the face it finds, and falls back to a center crop when there is none.
Move the start and end, fix caption text, switch the style or shape, then update the clip.

Videos you own or have permission to use. Paste a link to a public, non-live YouTube video or upload a file. Videos can run up to 30 minutes on Free, 1 hour on Creator, 2 hours on Pro, and 3 hours on Business. ClipCheap does not bypass DRM, sign-ins, age gates or regional blocks, so some YouTube videos can’t be processed. Read the acceptable use policy.
It transcribes the audio, then looks for moments with a strong opening, a clear point, some emotion and a payoff. Each pick gets a title, a short reason and an editorial score.
No. It is a subjective editorial score based on the transcript, not a prediction of views or engagement. Use it to decide which clips to review first.
They are a strong first draft. Timing follows the words when the transcription provider returns word timings, and is spread evenly across each phrase when it does not. Check every clip and fix anything in the editor.
Creator, Pro, and Business. On Free, clips use a center crop.
Up to 5 on Free, 10 on Creator, and 16 on Pro and Business. Each clip can run up to 60 seconds on Free and 90 seconds on Creator, Pro, and Business. Short or very focused videos may give fewer clips, and we won’t pad them.
MP4 files up to 720p on Free, with a small watermark, and up to 1080p on paid plans. Captions can be burned in, and every clip comes with a separate SRT file.
