How it works

Everything between “clip ready” and “posted.”

Publishing should be the easy part. Here’s how we keep it that way.

Auto-post to nine apps

Connect once. Posts go out on their own.

To post automatically, connect a free scheduling account once. The studio walks you through it, and it takes about a minute. From then on, every post you schedule goes out at your time, and its status comes back here, no refresh needed.

  • Optional, and available on every plan
  • Status comes back by itself: scheduled, posted or needs approval
  • Disconnect anytime. We only post what you schedule.

The scheduling account is free to start, and its own limits apply.

A calendar that shows what needs you

See the week’s posts with their live status. Drag a post to another day to move it. Needs attention lists anything that couldn’t go out, with the one button that fixes it.

  • Month and week views, and an agenda on phones
  • Needs attention: posts that failed or wait for approval
  • Posts you scheduled outside ClipCheap can show too, read-only

Schedule a whole week at once

Select clips in your Library and choose “one a day at best times.” Captions are written and fitted for each clip and app. Check the list, then confirm.

  • One a day at best times, or from a start date
  • Captions fitted per clip and per app
  • Nothing is scheduled until you confirm

Rather post it yourself? Easy.

For any app you don’t connect, you get a post kit: the caption, hashtags and title ready to copy, the video to download or share, and an email reminder when it’s time.

  • Copy the caption, hashtags and title
  • Share from your phone’s share sheet where it’s supported
  • Mark as posted to keep your calendar up to date

One caption, fitted to every app

Write once, or let AI write it. Each app gets a version that fits: a title for YouTube and Pinterest, 280 characters for X, one topic tag for Threads.

  • Limits counted the way each app counts them
  • Your hashtag set and caption footer added for you
  • Customize any app before you post

Honest by design

What Publish won’t do.

Posting for you is a big responsibility. These are our rules.

  • We never post without your tap.

Nothing is scheduled until you press the button, and only the posts you schedule go out.

  • “Best time” isn’t a prediction.

It’s the next open slot in the posting times you set. We don’t claim to know when your audience is online.

  • We don’t hide failures.

If a post can’t go out, it says why in plain words and shows the one button that fixes it.

  • We don’t lock you in.

Auto-posting is optional. Disconnect anytime, and posts you already scheduled stay in your scheduling account.

FAQ

Questions about publishing

Do I need anything else to post automatically?

Only a free scheduling account, connected once. The studio walks you through it in about a minute, and after that your posts go out on their own. Auto-posting is optional: without it, every post gets a ready-made kit and a reminder, and you post it yourself.

Can I post automatically on my plan?

Yes, on every plan, Free included. The scheduling account you connect is free to start and has its own limits.

Which apps can I publish to?

TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest, and Bluesky. Instagram posts go out as Reels and YouTube posts as Shorts. Pinterest pins need a board.

What does Best time mean?

Best time puts the post in the next open slot of your posting schedule, like Tue 9:00 AM. You choose the days and times, starting from a few suggestions. It is your schedule, not a prediction.

What happens if a post fails?

The post says why in plain words, such as “Sign in again” or “Time passed,” with one button to fix it, like Reconnect, Retry or Pick a new time. The calendar’s Needs attention filter lists every post that needs you.

Can I change a post after it’s scheduled?

Yes. Edit the text or drag the post to a new day, and the change is saved for you. If a change can’t be made from here, we tell you where to make it.

Who can turn on auto-posting?

Workspace owners and admins. Each workspace connects its own accounts, so client accounts stay separate.

What if an account needs approval before posting?

Posts that need approval wait in your scheduling account and show “Needs approval” here, with a link to approve them there.
